16 months of pure cuteness!!!!

Gracie turned one!!!

Gracie turned one about 2 weeks ago and I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by! She was born at 7lbs. 7 oz., now she is 19lbs. 2oz!! She is saying some words and has her own opinion about EVERYTHING! Bill says she gets that from me! Her birthday party was awesome and she destroyed her cake!!!!!! Finally, she started walking yesterday!! She took one step in the morning and by bed time she was taking 5 or 6 steps! My little baby girl is now a toddler... wow.

The Zoo

So I got a Family Season Pass to the LA Zoo! Since getting it 3 weeks ago we have gone 3 times! I'm offically obsessed lol. This past Friday we actually got to see a live birth! A mama mountain goat (the official name has escaped me) had twins and we got to see the entire thing! It was truly amazing! We went back yesterday, just three days later, to witness the adorable babies jumping and running around! I know I am way more excited than Gracie but she is starting to really enjoy seeing the monkeys, zebras and other animals! Here are a few pics, I haven't downloaded them all yet!

And then there were TEETH!

Gracie got her two bottom teeth last week.. only 3 days apart! Poor thing was in some pain for a few days but now she's doing great! She looks instantly older to me and I can't believe she is almost 9 months old!

New Car!

My hubby got me a new car this week and I'm LOVING it! He got me a 2009 Ford Fusion. It's so much more roomy than it looks... I swear I could put 3 bodies in the trunk hahaha It's leather and drives so nice! So much more room for Gracie too! I'm a lucky lady!

I'm Back!

It's been a long time since I blogged on this page! I've been working on my business web site and focusing a lot on that. (http://gigglesandglitz.tripod.com/) But it's all put together now so back to us!

Gracie is now 7 months old! I can't believe how fast the time flys! She is sitting up pretty well and lifting one knee to try and crawl! She has been in her helmet for about 5 weeks now and we are hoping that next week will mark the 1/2 way point.

She sleeps fantasically, which is great for both Bill and I, and learning to drink juice from a sippy. She says 'dada' now and mouths 'mama' but no sound comes out so I guess it doesn't count yet haha

Here is a recent picture of her. She is allowed to have her helmet off for 1 hour a day, so this was a good photo op!
